Why Attend Fahs Camp?

For decades, Unitarian Universalists from Long Island and beyond have come together in the spirit of Beloved community. Find out why families and campers return year after year.

Deepening Faith

To create an intergenerational Unitarian Universalist community we provide  practical and spiritual experiences in a safe, beautiful, and natural environment that will inspire children, youth, and adults to explore their identities.

Programming for All Ages

We offer programs for a multigenerational camp experience. We welcome families of all ages and sizes, young adults, and seniors who hold fond memories of attending with their children. Children and youth entering grades 3-12, from the Long Island Area and beyond, are invited to attend as campers. Adults from LIAC Congregation members volunteer time as staff. Each community member signs a Covenant by which to live during our week together.

Committed to Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

We are challenging the image of the outdoors and camp as spaces primarily for white people of financial privilege. Thanks to the generosity of donors, grants, and LIAC congregations, we are able to provide financial aid and scholarships for any Long Island Area UU camper in need.

All youth and young adults are eligible for subsidized registration rates. These rates are made possible by Long Island Area Council of UU Congregations and New York State Convention of Universalists.

Programs & Spirituality

Our programs are designed to serve campers across the life span. From age based cohorts for religious education, to intergenerational activities and conversations campers will grow and connect to Unitarian Universalism.
